Central Roofing Company, one of the largest roofing contractors in the Midwest, has been in business since 1929. They install and preserve roofs for a variety of markets, including commercial, industrial, and residential. With the largest service department in Minnesota and a management staff with collectively more than 250 years of roofing experience, they focus on customer satisfaction, employee development and support, and ethical profitability dependent on high quality standards.

Central Roofing Company had determined that their system of using multiple small, relatively basic databases to store client information was obsolete, and they wanted to utilize newer, more powerful technologies. However, after purchasing upgraded database software, Central Roofing discovered that they were unable to compare information in the old systems to data in the new one. High Monkey Consulting created a customized database comparison program that allows them to simultaneously evaluate information in both systems, streamlining their daily processes and increasing employee efficiency. This project involved developing algorithms to match database fields and creating a logical score to determine the relevance of the match. We also developed several customized wizard screens that automate the data collection and matching process.
