Marshfield Clinic is one of the largest private multi-specialty group healthcare practices in the United States. Located in 41 medical centers throughout Wisconsin, Marshfield Clinic employs over 4,000 people, including more than 700 physicians with
80 medical specialties.

High Monkey Consulting was approached by Marshfield’s education department to assist them with their web-based training program. We developed a series of training courses to be delivered to employees over Marshfield’s corporate Intranet throughout the year. These courses are mandatory annually for each employee, and a quiz is completed at the end to gauge competencies in specific areas. We also assisted Marshfield Clinics in enhancing and adding more user interactivity to previous course selections they had developed.

In addition, High Monkey Consulting developed a comprehensive database-driven backbone to Marshfield’s current web-based training system. This database system records and evaluates a
user’s experiences in a course and provides them with feedback on accomplished tasks when they make a returning visit. All performance checks are recorded into a database for the educational team to review and evaluate employee progress and aptitude.

Finally, High Monkey Consulting was able to develop and identify a streaming media plan for Marshfield’s video production department, enabling them to integrate current training videos with web-based course selections. This includes the technical specifications necessary for their department to support this type of technology.
