High Monkey is developing a SharePoint-based portal site named “FISH” - Families and Individuals Sharing Hope. This site will be utilized by the FISH leadership team consisting of Scott County human services staff and a variety of non-profit and charitable organizations. Working with our solution partner, Insightformation, High Monkey delivered the first phase of this project – a secure SharePoint site (and logo design) for the FISH leadership team to share information and collaborate on documents and policies.

HMC also developed the site’s functionality and security model and defined the scope and features for the 2nd and 3rd phases of the project for implementation in 2010. The 2nd phase will expand the SharePoint portal to the community of service providers. The 3rd phase will expand the SharePoint portal to those individuals in need and provide both case management and confidential connection of individuals with service providers. A 4th phase in the long-term planning stage will look at the FISH portal as a SharePoint application that can be “packaged” and implemented in other locations by other county-level governments. This project has the potential to be utilized by 120,000 people in Scott County and many times that number if implemented by other county governments across Minnesota.
