High Monkey was engaged by SCSU over a 6 month period to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current state of their WCM (Web Content Management) environment with the intention of delivering a roadmap report with recommendations on CMS (content management system) solutions, existing legacy applications, forms, and other technology challenges. During the engagement with SCSU, High Monkey provided the following services:

• Conducted 26 individual and group information discovery sessions with 89 SCSU faculty and staff members
• Evaluated current legacy applications and other third party applications in use at SCSU
• Reviewed the university’s security and content editor permissions model
• Worked with the senior IT leadership team to define CMS requirements
• Identified, vetted, and contacted 39 software product vendors
• Coordinated 5 CMS product demos and analyzed feedback from SCSU
• Worked with SCSU to identify multiple strategies for the creation, security, and management of forms
• Assisted the senior IT leadership team with the creation of a 2 page executive briefing to be used for funding and resource requests
• Delivered a 50+ page project report and an “out-briefing” session with the IT leadership team
