High Monkey developed a custom social networking and collaboration portal using DotNetNuke (DNN) as the .NET development framework. This project involved the integration of multiple third party modules to manage administration, marketing, newsletters, membership, security, blogs, profiles, and other social networking features. The site was launched in early May 2009 and added 2600+ members in the first 6 weeks of operation. The target audience for the website is the large community of entrepreneurs in Iowa and surrounding states. The MyEntre.Net model has been developed to scale up to a national level over time. HMC managed the entire project and conducted all of the work involved including the integration of DNN modules into a unified portal, custom .NET programming, usability and focus group testing, original graphic design and branding, and the development of user / admin documentation and training.
