Quarrix approached High Monkey in the Spring of 2016 with a need to redesign their website and re-launch it on the Kentico EMS platform. The Quarrix web team had conducted an initial evaluation of Kentico and was considering the EMS platform for their website.

High Monkey facilitated several discussions about how the Quarrix website would be built and how it would be managed using the Kentico EMS. A demo of Kentico EMS by Midwest Region TSM Jessica MacRoberts helped convince the Quarrix team of Kentico’s overall value.

Some of the challenges the Quarrix and High Monkey teams included:
  • Matching the page templates to reflect the design of the site (HTML customizations)
  • Implementing an approach called sectioning to roll up modular content on a single page.  This requires the page editing work by the Quarrix team to be done via the EMS Administration interface vs. in-line editing.
  • Identifying the level and timing for knowledge transfer from High Monkey’s consultants to the Quarrix web team.  The Quarrix team became more engaged as the project moved forward – an approach High Monkey encouraged.
  • High Monkey took a slightly different approach to the build out of online forms for the Quarrix website.  High Monkey provided additional documentation and knowledge transfer for the Quarrix team.

Trusted testimonial

“We looked for an all-in-one marketing platform that would give us the capability to create personas, score visitor actions, personalize visitors’ page views, email, analytics and more. As a small company, we wanted all the newest marketing capabilities but did not have the budget to continually buy bolt-on products for our website to support our wants. Kentico’s EMS product offered everything we needed for our marketing efforts within a website platform that fit within a small company budget. Kentico’s affordability stood apart from other marketing content-management systems we were considering because it offered us the ability to purchase the platform for one fee, instead of an ongoing monthly commitment. By purchasing Kentico EMS we were able to wrap the platform costs into our website development and be done! Of course, knowing we have the ability to upgrade our platform as Kentico releases upgraded versions is nice, but it’s a relief to know that it is not mandatory. As a marketing professional, Kentico EMS provides me the ability to not be held back by my company website but instead move forward with confidence.” - Amanda W, Marketing Manager
