Thank You, SharePoint Saturday Denver!

I just wanted to put out a quick post and thank everyone for a great SharePoint Saturday in Denver this weekend. Thanks to all the organizers of this year's event. Especially some of my buddies, Gary LaPointe, Shannon Bray, and Clay Cobb. You guys and the rest of the team put on one of the best SPS's yet. I was great getting to catch up with a lot of old friends and as always make a lot of new ones.

The weekend started off with a fantastic speakers dinner at Fogo De Chao, where we not only got treated to an awesome meal but also got some great lectures on how to eat there and the proper way to say the name. (thanks Planet Technologies

The attendance today was great and the venue was even better as we were treated to professional grade rooms and equipment courtesy of the Colorado Convention Center. (which I understand is quite new)

Thanks to everyone who attended my talks. I really appreciate the crowds in both my metadata and governance sessions. I had a lot great questions on some good discussions afterwards. Feedback is always very important to me, so if you have any comments, suggestions, or would just like to discuss some things a little bit further, don't hesitate to contact me or leave comments on here. As promised, I included the slides from both of my talks.

Lastly, I would like to thank Rackspace for once again stepping up and sponsoring the SharePint afterwards at the Tilted Kilt. If you are ever in the Denver area, I recommend checking out the place. Nothing I love more than a touch of Irish Pub with good friends.

Sorry to everyone for not being able to make it to Sunday's social event at Water World. I hope everyone has a great time.

So once again, I thank the folks at SPS Denver for having a great event and for all the attendees that help keep the SharePoint community in the industry forefront! I hope to see you all sometime in the future.
