Hey everyone, Hope you all had a great holiday and are looking forward to the 2013 year. If we don't fall off the fiscal cliff (I know….lame) then we are in for a great 2013 in both the SharePoint and rest of the world. Below is a brief update on some of my upcoming speaking engagements in the next few months. I am really excited to be taking part of some new events and going back to some old. As we move into 2013 obviously more and more of my topics are going to be around the new SharePoint 2013, but I am trying to take a different perspective and let folks know how the same could be accomplished in 2010 and 2007 as well.

This is my first blog post in a long time that is not a video blog. I will mostly be doing video blogs going forward, but this one seemed a lot simpler just being typed J For those of you whom have not visited my blog before, make sure and check out my 101 SharePoint Usability tips for some great stuff on usability in SharePoint.

January 5th SharePoint Saturday Virginia Beach Breaking down the SharePoint Information Architecture Silos
January 19th SharePoint Saturday Utah How Information Architecture can improve SharePoint 2013
February SharePoint 2010 vs. 2013 Usability Showdown Check out my blog posts starting in February as we run both 2010 and 2013 through actual heuristic usability tests with end users to find out how much easier 2013 really is!
March   I have one conference I am eyeing in March, but cannot say because I have not even applied yet
April 15th-17th SharePoint Evolutions Conference 2013 I am giving 2 sessions here: Creating your own information architecture best practices in SharePoint 2010 & Taking your information architecture in a new direction with SharePoint 2013

So that is it for now…as you can see I got a big winter / spring ahead of me and hope to see many friends, new and old, at these upcoming events. Thanks and happy holidays to everyone!
