Thank You, SharePoint Saturday - Hartford!

With just one slight change of my flight schedule I was able to avoid getting stuck in any airports. It's hard to believe given that my travels took me through Boston, Hartford and Lexington, all cities which fell in the path of the colossal snow storm that is sweeping (or has swept, depending on when you are reading this) the nation! So overall I would say it was a successful trip, and not just because I missed the bulk of the snowstorm and made it home ahead of schedule. All of my meetings went very well and I even had a chance to stop by Hartford, Connecticut for a very successful SharePoint Saturday. It just so happened that this was Hartford's very first SharePoint Saturday, and I was lucky enough to speak at it!

There was a great turnout for SharePoint Saturday Hartford. It was so great that the event actually "sold out." This doesn't totally surprise me given the impressive speaker line-up that they had. It was great seeing a lot of old friends and colleagues while I was there. I especially want to thank everyone who came out and listened to my talk on upgrading to SharePoint 2010, "The Business side of Upgrading: Clean-up, Shape-up and Ship-over."

As promised, here are the links to the PDFs for my slide deck.

For those of you that were unable to make it to Hartford or perhaps were at SharePoint Saturday Hartford, but couldn't make it to my talk, I'll forgive you this time : ) I'll also give you another chance to hear me give the same talk via webinar. You can find more information and register for this here.

I want to thank the organizers for inviting me to speak and also all that attended for making it a successful event. I hope to see you all at more SharePoint events this year! Take a look at my other blog post "A look at 2011" to see what conferences or events I will be going to next.
