You have been told that you need to implement Business Intelligence (BI) solution.  Now what?  There are so many tools available, which do you choose?  How do you implement?  This whole day tutorial is dedicated to the Business Intelligence tools one can utilize in SharePoint culminating in building a BI application.  Each tool will be evaluated in terms of its place in the SharePoint BI ecosystem.  This will include detailed analysis of SQL and its impact on SharePoint BI.

This workshop is structured to take a beginner through the lifecycle of a BI project.  You will gain an understanding of the tools available and their place in the BI ecosystem and how to choose the right tool including (but not limited to) the chart part, Excel services, Visio services, Performance Point services).  We will then focus on the building of a BI application based on user requirements.
(Bring a laptop because included are several hands on exercises.)
