SeaWorld Port of Call Conference Center

Virgil Carroll, High Monkey’s President and Chief User Experience Architect, delivered a high energy and engaging session this morning at the 2015 Kentico Connection Conference.  Speaking to a packed room with standing room only in the back, Virgil’s topic was titled “Responsive Design Best Practices in Kentico CMS”.

Virgil’s topic was one of the most popular of the Developer Track sessions.  The session description read, “One of the greatest challenges today's digital agencies and organizations run into is developing a solid practice around building out modern, responsive web applications that can provide content contributors both the flexibility and consistency to manage modern content management structures. In this session we explored the responsive design process and looked at best practices in the implementation of a Kentico-based website. This session dives into some of the most popular responsive frameworks including Bootstrap and Foundation and looks at the pros and cons of implementation of each. Attendees will walk away with knowledge on how to best integrate responsive design into the Kentico template structure to simplify management and maintenance in the future.”
