The Choose to Reuse Program helps people keep usable items out of the trash and obtain quality items without buying new by providing resources to sell, donate, buy, repair, and rent goods that may otherwise be thrown away.
Project Scope
High Monkey designed and implemented faceted search within the County’s Coveo search engine for the Choose to Reuse sub-site. The search strategy included the integration of Google Maps and Google Places ID. In addition to meeting the responsive design needs of users High Monkey created the ability for businesses to provide listings dynamically within Sitecore CMS using a custom .NET form submitted by website visitors. This development approach required customization for the information to be queued for review and approval by a Hennepin County content editor before being added to site.
