NCG engaged High Monkey to plan out and implement a consolidation and migration of files between their SharePoint on-premise and Office365 environments.  

Work was completed in multiple phases.

Phase 1 - The migration work utilized the Sharegate toolset while HM did extensive mapping of files including those accessed via NCG’s CRM platform.  HM made extensive use of content types and metadata to ensure that the migrated files were searchable and findable.

Phase 2 - This phase included establishing best practices for NCG Company shared folders (inter-departmental shares) including naming conventions and standards and organizing content. Another part of Phase 2 was the set up of external sharing and security best practices and an in-depth review of share-sync files and security.

Phase 3 – The third phase of the project focused on the design and build of a Portal within NCG’s Office 365 environment.  High Monkey recommended and implemented a third-party tool to make the process of creating new portal sites for NCG Co+op member locations easily repeatable. In addition to the set-up of the NCG Office365 environment, this project phase included the Portal build-out, styling, security, and collaboration.
