Presbyterian Homes

Launched 2015

Presbyterian Homes originated in 1946 under the auspices of the Synod of Minnesota of the United Presbyterian Church with a plan to investigate building a home for aging adults. The first senior residence was built in 1955 in Arden Hills Minnesota. Today, over 7,000 employees of Presbyterian Homes ('PHS') serve 27,000 older adults through 50 senior communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa. Services from PHS include independent living assistance, assisted living, memory care, transitional care, and long term care. High Monkey has worked with PHS since 2015.

Project Scope

Quayside Wayzata (pronounced 'key-side') is a luxury apartment complex located near Lake Minnetonka in Wayzata, MN.  The new website needed to showcase the complex's luxurious amenities and features, as well as nearby businesses. The Quayside website had to be responsive, accessible, and have an overall look that was clean and modern.

Website Design & Build - The first impression from the home page had be visually compelling and provide an image rich experience that would be easy to navigate. High Monkey provided two completely different design prototypes and built out the site using the Kentico CMS functionality (out of the box) as much as possible.

Accessibility & Inclusive Design - Accessibility was an important deliverable for the Quayside Wayzata website. High Monkey conducted extensive testing that also included functional and compliance testing.
