The challenge
Wiley needed a rebuilt partner portal that could do more than house content. MindLab Connect had to serve partners across multiple product lines simultaneously, giving each user a personalized experience based on who they are within the Wiley network. The rebuild required a tightly integrated authentication system, role-based content delivery, accessible design, and a resource library partners could actually use, all built on Xperience by Kentico.
Key requirements
- Existing-infrastructure authentication - The portal needed to authenticate partners through Wiley's existing partner management system rather than maintaining a separate login environment.
- Personalized experience by partner role - Partners across multiple product lines needed to land on a version of the site relevant to their specific role, not a single undifferentiated destination.
- Centralized resource and asset library - Partners needed one place to find, filter, and download the marketing materials and assets relevant to their work.
- Accessibility compliance from the ground up - The rebuilt portal needed to meet ADA standards across every component before launch, not as an afterthought.
Our approach
High Monkey handled the full MindLab Connect rebuild, from requirements and planning through development, testing, and documentation. Working from Wiley's established Figma wireframes, the team focused on building a technically complex, authenticated platform on Xperience by Kentico that could serve a diverse partner network from a single, personalized experience.
Single sign-on authentication
High Monkey built MindLab Connect's authentication to connect directly to Wiley's external partner management system. Logging in once gives partners access to MindLab Connect and automatically authenticates them into other Wiley platforms they need, no separate credentials required.
Role-based content personalization
Partners only see what's relevant to them. High Monkey built a segmentation system that filters content, news, events, and forms based on each user's product line affiliations, so the site feels tailored to each partner rather than a one-size-fits-all resource dump.
Resource and asset library
One of MindLab Connect's core functions is giving partners access to the marketing materials and assets they need to do their jobs. High Monkey built a filterable, downloadable resource library leveraging Xperience by Kentico's Content Hub, allowing assets to be managed once and surfaced across multiple areas of the site based on user role.
ADA compliance & accessibility
Accessibility was built in, not bolted on. High Monkey conducted full functional and ADA compliance testing throughout the project, working iteratively with the Wiley team to resolve issues before launch.
Results and impact
The rebuilt MindLab Connect launched in April 2026 as a partner portal that knows who you are the moment you log in.
Partners across Wiley's network now have a single authenticated destination that surfaces the content, resources, and tools relevant to their specific role, and connects them to the broader Wiley platform ecosystem through single sign-on.
